Wind wolves preserve is a stretch of grassland cut by a stream and dappled with wild flowers. During the spring the surrounding hills are velvet green. Cut in neat rows by grazing sheep. It's a very easy hike till you get to a steep hill a few miles in.
Nick and Bro took an early lead on the hike.

We went on a driving tour of some of the historical spots above Big Bear. This is a cabin made over a hundred years ago.

We stopped at a few places on our way to up to Mammoth Lakes. This is a house long abandoned and left to the elements.
Surf fishing isn't exactly my forte but it's a nice beach activity at sunset.

This is a model of the camp when it was fully functioning. These days white rocks mark the places where the buildings used to be.
